Sands Ocean Club Resort

The off season rates are great. The indoor pool is a great family area to hang out with tables and chairs, a hot tub, and fun, bright color changing lights. Breakfast is not included, but they have a nice restaurant near the pool and they cook to order eggs. Breakfast is a buffet (I'm not sure if there's a menu to order other items). Beverages cost additional from the buffet. We both got coffee and we got a carafe, which is nice. Our waiter was nice as well. There is a lazy river outside, but I don't know if it's open year around. There is a bar in the resort, which is a nice break for the adults. We had a full kitchenette unit with 2 bedrooms. I thought it was odd that there weren't any kitchen linens, paper towels, or sponges to clean up. There is a dishwasher, but you still have little messes to clean up. I asked the front desk for linens and paper towels. They don't supply paper products. He did me a hand towel. The balcony is big enough for 4 chairs and a small drink table (it was dirty). The location is in a primarily lodging area and not in the tourist areas. You have to drive several miles to do tourists activities, but it wasn't bad.

Centrally located. The beach bar is a big plus. The 2 bedroom unit we had was very dated and also in need of cosmetic repair and the room with 2 single beds is very small but were sufficient for a golf trip with the guys. The 2 bed efficiencies were in much better shape. Avoid getting a room facing the parking garage (opposite side from ocean front). Noisy and any sound from below echoes a lot.

Hotel is in a great location with great views of the ocean. The room was also nice and clean. Was here for a golf trip - Dick Baugh took great care of us and made planning and scheduling very easy. Missy and the dining room staff were also a pleasure.

This place is literally on the sand - best location ever. Lit beachfront, pools open till 11:00 p.m. and lots of seating overlooking the beach. Free tickets to the water park included in your room price. The building could use some work but great value for money. Great for families

My registration was quick and host accommodated my request. View was spectacular. Great stay!! Already booked to come back again. We door dashed from Moe's BBQ, fast service and delicious. Family friendly hotel

I attend a conference every year and this is where i have stayed each year for the past 10 years. Ive never hunted for the same room but ive never been disappointed. Its a great shopping location, the rates are better than reasonable, and there are a mindless number of food choices within 10 minutes

Very good service, and friendly staff. Lots of things to do and places are close by and of walking distance. My only issue and it's a big one. While the room was good. Those had to be the most uncomfortable beds that I have ever tried to sleep on. Woke up every 15 minutes to turn over because whatever side I was laying on was sore. It's very sad because everything else was perfect.

10/10 love this resort...this was our third time staying here. The beach views are amazing...sunsets are gorgeous. Room was nice and very clean. Staff were very knowledgeable and kind. The third night we had a neighbor arguing till the wee morning hours but I called and put in a noise complaint and they took care of it Immediately(sent security up). Very impressed in the promptness. Will be back again next year!
